At the end of the day, we all want to live a life that we are pleased with. But that life only comes about when we practice intentional living. When we are not proactive with our life decisions and the direction of our life, chances are our surroundings will determine and take charge of our lives. How many times have you said the statement ” I had no choice” to justify your current situation or bad behavior. This way of thinking comes from a victim mentality, blame, and refusing to take 100% responsibility for your life. The truth is your daily choices lead you to the moment of “I had no choice”. The decisions we make daily make up our months, months make up years and years make up our life. One way to help you make the decisions that will result in the quality of life that you want is by having personal values. It’s one thing to have your personal values laid out and another to live by them. Values make you stand out from the crowd. Your choices should not be influenced by the in-thing in the society, personal values determine what you accomplish and how you accomplish it.
